Looking for a relaxed winter hike with nature, history, and a Christmas market to finish the day? Feel free to join!
We’ll do a casual, moderate hike through the Bagno area and Buchenberg near Steinfurt. No pressure, no racing — we’ll walk at a comfortable group pace and enjoy the surroundings.
The main highlight of the hike is Steinfurt Castle, one of the oldest moated castles in Westphalia. We’ll walk through the park and water landscape around the castle and take time to enjoy this special place. For many, this is the key highlight of the tour, before continuing through forest and lake scenery.
After the hike, we’re planning to head to the Christmas market in Münster for food, hot drinks, and warming up ☕🎄. You’re also welcome to join just the hike or meet later.

👉 Whether we’re a small group or just a few people — the hike will take place. Last-minute joiners are welcome.

For easier coordination, a WhatsApp group will be created by Friday at the latest for all participants.

Lust auf eine entspannte Winterwanderung mit Natur, Geschichte und zum Abschluss Weihnachtsmarkt-Stimmung? Dann komm gerne mit!
Wir machen eine lockere, moderat anspruchsvolle Wanderung durch das Bagno-Gebiet und den Buchenberg bei Steinfurt. Kein Leistungsdruck – wir gehen in gemeinschaftlichem Tempo, machen Pausen und genießen die Umgebung.
Der zentrale Höhepunkt der Tour ist Schloss Steinfurt, eine der ältesten Wasserburgen Westfalens. Wir wandern durch die Park- und Wasserlandschaft rund um das Schloss und nehmen uns Zeit, diesen besonderen Ort bewusst zu erleben. Für viele ist dies der Haupt-Highlight der Wanderung, bevor es weiter durch Wald- und Seenlandschaft geht.
Im Anschluss ist eine Einkehr auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt in Münster geplant (Glühwein, Essen, Aufwärmen ☕🎄). Wer nur wandern möchte oder später dazukommen will, ist ebenfalls willkommen.
