Hello fellow otakus!

Time to dive into tokusatsu territory! Otaku’s Guild is heading to the Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris (MCJP) for a big‑screen screening of Shin Ultraman on Friday, April 24th at 19:00.

Directed by Shinji Higuchi and written by Hideaki Anno, Shin Ultraman is a modern reimagining of the classic 1966 Ultraman series. Blending spectacular kaiju action with sharp political and existential themes, the film revisits Japan’s iconic silver giant through a contemporary lens—very much in the spirit of the same creators' Shin Godzilla. Whether you’re a long‑time tokusatsu fan or simply curious about one of Japan’s most influential heroes, this is a rare chance to experience it properly on the big screen.
