Edgewood Preserve Choo Choo Zig-Zag Trail - Deer Park, NY

This is an easy to moderate (4 mile) hike. This is a mostly flat and winding wooded trail with a few small slopes and cavernous foliage along the way. The trail has very few roots or puddles, but a fair amount of "nubs" so watch your step.

SUGGESTIONS: Bring water or snacks if you like. Dress appropriately for the weather. The trail is narrow so I recommend high socks or legwear and bug spray. Check yourself for ticks when we get back before you get into your car.
