Othala Circle

A growing number of folks in the Western world have been returning to the old faiths of pre-Christian Europe, but not many can find an active group or kindred nearby. Let's see if there's at least a handful of us here on the Central Coast who would be interested in forming a little community.

The purpose of the group would be to learn and practice our ancestral traditions in community, in person, as it's supposed to be done, and to build frith and enjoy fellowship with people who share our values. I'd like this community to become a source of support and encouragement to folks trying to live according to the principles of this path in modern society.

For the sake of cohesion, we'll limit the group to Heathen traditions only (Norse/Anglo-Saxon/German/Asatru): while other folk faiths share similarities with us, they have a somewhat different spirit and values. Experienced and new practitioners are welcome.

The group is not affiliated with any organizations. You're welcome to reach out privately if you have questions prior to joining.
