Otley, The Chevin and Pool Bank Meander approx 5 to 6 miles Easy/ Moderate

A local walk hopefully convenient for all members.
Would say this is a easy to medium walk of approx 5-6 miles of undulating ground, this is not a level walk.
The walk starts outside the the Otley North Bar Social and heads up Station Road, part way up the route to surprise view we cut off left for a gentle incline path across the chevin towards old pool bank ,Pool in Wharfedale. The idea is to come out near the Bar House , passing the spot of the Picture of our walk which is the old Bridge across the A660 Otley to Leeds Road. This bridge served the Old Pool Bank Quarries, which heresay has it sent stone to the Houses of Parliament.
At the Bar House we will take the Footpath downhill heading back towards Otley

Appropriate footwear and protective clothing Should be worn and as per all other Meet Up Walks i have been on i should declare that i am not a professional walk guide and attendees walk at their own risk.

A drink at the North Bar afterwards is not out of the question!

Parking is available at the Burras lane, North parade and Courtyard lane car parks
