Walk/Hike from P14 - Pinhey Forest

Hi.

I'm going for a walk/hike starting from NCC Greenbelt west parking lot P14, Pinhey Forest, on Hunt Club Road west, by Woodroffe Ave., (behind the Nepean Sportsplex, near the Minto Sports Field), on Thursday June 26, starting at 10:00 a.m.

You're welcome to join me.

We'll pass by the sand dunes.
From the NCC website:
"The vegetation in Pinhey Forest was established on old postglacial sand dunes.
This unique ecosystem is home to a number of plant and animal species that can live only in well-drained, open areas with exposed, fine-grained sand."
"Pinhey Forest is named after the man who donated the land in 1948.
Since 2011, the NCC has been working to restore this 10,000-year-old sand dune ecosystem."

Please use appropriate footwear.

Camels are allowed but no dogs please.
