ForwardJS Ottawa (formerly React Ottawa), founded in 2018, is a non-profit tech meetup group focused on web development technologies. Our talks cover a wide range of web development and career topics.
We host two types of monthly events:
- Traditional tech meetups featuring speakers, talks, and networking opportunities.
- Social gatherings aimed at community building.

For our October meetup, we're switching things up! Alongside Keith's talk, we'll be hosting a casual fireside chat with the ForwardJS organizers, followed by some spooky dev stories from the community.
Ever accidentally deleted a production database? Had an LLM completely misinterpret your instructions and wipe out something important? Or pushed a change that brought down an entire service?
We've all got a few scary development stories! We'll be passing the mic around the room so folks can share their own spooky dev stories, big or small. No pressure to share, you're welcome to just listen!Schedule
