Scala FP and Data Science with F#

It's been a while, let's have a meetup! May is our first FP meetup of the summer, taking place on May 16th at our usual venue CENX! Come along for the usual pizza and networking, followed by two exciting talks.

A look at some of the open source, easy-to-use, community offerings to get a better handle on different sources of data.

• Introduction to Scala Functional Programming - Petro Verkhogliad

In this talk we will explore how functional programming is practiced in Scala from using the standard library to third-party libraries.
