Synopsis: The Bride! is an upcoming American Gothic romance film written, co-produced, and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal. The film stars Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale. The film draws inspiration from the 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein, which was based on Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus.
