What we’re about

For quiet souls who love walking and want to connect—without the pressure of small talk.

Do you enjoy walking but find socializing a bit overwhelming? Are you within the ages of 20 to 40? You're not alone—and you're welcome here.

This group is designed for introverts, neurodivergent individuals (including those on the autism spectrum), and anyone ages 20-40 who finds small talk challenging but still wants to make meaningful connections. We meet every other Sunday morning for gentle walks in central Ottawa and surrounding areas, with routes averaging about 1 hour. Longer walks are optional if the group feels up for it.

Each walk is hosted and includes optional icebreaker questions to help spark conversation for those who want it—but quiet moments are equally valued. Whether you're here to chat or simply enjoy the company of others in silence, this is a judgment-free zone.

What to expect:

  • Welcoming, low-pressure environment
  • Walks in scenic, accessible locations
  • Optional conversation prompts
  • Respect for quiet and personal space
  • Opportunities to make friends at your own pace

If you love walking and want to meet others who understand the value of quiet companionship, we’d love to have you join us.
