Women of Shambhala Practice Circle

Details
In times of extreme social, environmental, and political upheaval, we are reminded of the importance of practice, relationship and conscious engagement.
As practitioners in the Shambhala tradition, we have a unique opportunity to connect with Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s teachings on “feminine principle”, which he taught were an essential element for Buddhist and Shambhala practice, community and organization. Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche characterized the “feminine principle” as space, awareness, wisdom, and the “mother principle” that safeguards against the development of ego’s impulses.
During this monthly circle, we will first and foremost practice together. And through our practice and conversation, uncover the feminine principle in our teachings, in ourselves and in our lives.
This is an inclusive circle. Trans women, cis women, and nonbinary people are invited to join us on the fourth Wednesday of every month for this practice.
