The Ottawa Society of Travellers brings together seasoned adventurers who share a curiosity for destinations near and far. Members value meaningful experiences, cultural discovery, wilderness exploration and the joy of discovering the world with a diversity of people. Whether it’s a favourite corner of Ottawa or a distant country, the group embraces travel in all its forms.

Each event is designed to spark social connection and lively conversation. Gatherings feature presentations, stories, and insights from fellow members, offering a relaxed environment where people can meet new friends, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. Curiosity is at the heart of every meeting.

Above all, the group aims to inspire. By showcasing a wide variety of destinations and perspectives, it encourages members to dream, plan, and continue discovering. For those who love to travel—and love sharing that passion with others—this community offers both motivation and camaraderie.

MEMBERSHIP DUES: To avoid having 3,500 "zombie" members we never hear from, we have decided to charge a nominal annual fee of $4. Funds gathered over the course of a year will be used to a special end-of-year event. The organizers will not be using those funds for any of their expenses related to this group. Detailed accounting will be provided.
