### “Philosophy begins not with answers, but with unease.”
An interpretation of Socrates’ words will be exactly where I want to start today. There is a deep unease in the air, and I want to touch that and learn from your ideas.
The unease comes from the famous Epstein files and the people connected to them. At first, I saw them simply as horrific cases of sexual abuse or sick people committing disgusting crime. But the more I read, the more something else disturbed me even more deeply—and that is what I want to explore today.
Power and Evil.
1. What makes power so desirable?
The story of Plato about Ring of Tyres
2. Character of the Powerful
3. Are Powerful people cruel?
4. How does being close to Power feels like?
5. Do we really have our own capacity of judgement? Or not?
6. What are institutions for? To protect the Public or the Power?
7. What is Morality related to Power?
8. Can mercy exist alongside power—or only without it?
9. Is evil intentional, or can it exist without intention?
