BRIEF INTRODUCTION
The Bald Syndicate is a community for anyone who has experienced hair loss and is on a journey from insecurity to confidence — because the power is in your mind, not your hair.
WHAT IS "LET'S CONNECT"?
Let's Connect is our once-a-month social gathering where members come together to share stories and laughs. Each gathering is guided loosely by a theme.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Our gatherings are open to members only. Not a member yet? Joining is free — simply sign up through our Meetup page and you're in.
IS THERE A CHARGE TO ATTEND?
There is no charge to attend our events. As we grow, a voluntary donation box will be introduced to help cover operating expenses such as rented space — but that will always remain entirely optional. See Looking Ahead below for more context.
EVENT AGENDA
- Arrival & Welcome — Meet at Equator Coffee within the National Arts Centre (NAC). Grab your food and/or drink
- Move to our space — We relocate together to our conversation area within the NAC
- Introductions — Everyone shares their name and something about where they are on the journey.
- Open Conversation, Sharing & Stories
- Closing — Announcements, next gathering details, and a reminder of what this community stands for

LOOKING AHEAD
Our next gathering may be held in a quieter environment — one that minimizes distractions and allows for deeper connections and more meaningful conversation. We are exploring a rented space at 227 Elgin St (Knox Presbyterian Church) as our dedicated discussion space. Afterward, we would walk together — approximately 10 minutes — to Equator Coffee at the NAC to socialize and wind down over tea and coffee.
