See all- A day of photography in MontrealNeeds location
Lets go for a day doing street photography in Montreal
Rain Date: Sunday May 18th
Will meet at the Carpool parking lot at exit 79 off highway 417.
We will leave shortly after 7am.
For those who wants to carpool, I have room for 3 in my car.
we can make a couple of stops on the way to Montreal. I am thinking of Rigaud. I went to highschool there. THere is a place called 'Le champs de patate' the potato field. Its fields full of round rocks that was deposited in the last iceage. Its something to see.
If interested, we can stop at the end of a runway of Trudeau airport. It feels like the planes are landing on top of your head.
THen go to Mount Royal for awesome panoramic shots.
After that, we can head out to the Old Port of Montreal for street photography. I would like to go more downtown for archotecture shots. Then drive back.
As all day trip, will go with the flow. Will spend more time at interesting places, and less at not so interesting places. Will stop for lunch and diner wherever looks good.

Since we went to Tadoussac a couple of times, I was thinking of the Gaspe area. From Ottawa, its 12hrs drive.
Its a bird watcher paradise:
We will take a boat trip to Bonaventure Island, where the largest accessible gannet colony in the world is sure to delight any birdwatcher. During the excursion around Bonaventure Island, discover black-legged kittiwakes, razorbills, puffins, black guillemots and common guillemots.
Bird WatchingThis time, we will stay 5 nights at the same location so we don't have to move all our gears multiple time.
