The Art of Letting Go and Making Space (Rehearsal)
Details
This event explores how we often struggle to reach a healthier stage of development because there’s something we're struggling to “let go” of. It's inspired by the quote: “Let go of something old that no longer serves you in order to make room for something new." (Roy T. Bennett)
We will embark in a series of reflections and breakout conversations, where we explore what it means to release patterns and attachments.
First we’ll be invited to reflect on our life using the "Wheel of Wellness"! Then we’ll each identify an area of growth. Using this for context, we will:
- Examine the negatives and positives of what it is we're holding onto.
- Observe the experiences of holding on versus letting go, creating space for a perspective shift.
- Bring awareness to how our ego and persona may reinforce our attachments, and challenge them to loosen their grip.
- Conceive of more balanced and resilient ways of using our cognitive functions and their keywords.
Come be a practice audience during this free event rehearsal! (Please note: there may be event segments that are not polished or fully ready. Feedback would be most appreciated!)
SECURITY
