Let's Make Modum Suyuk & Geotjeori!
Details
Join Our Little Table for a cozy evening of making traditional Korean home-cooked meals while practicing the language with native speakers.
This event is perfect for anyone interested in Korean culture, language exchange, or simply making new foreign friends in a warm and friendly environment.
For this upcoming meetup, we are going to make Modum Suyuk (Assorted Boiled Pork Slices) and Geotjeori (Fresh Kimchi)!
(About the Menu) Suyuk is premium pork boiled with aromatic vegetables until it becomes incredibly tender and juicy, removing excess fat. We pair this with Geotjeori, a fresh, unfermented Kimchi that is crispy and refreshing. In Korea, eating these two together is a beloved "Soul Food" tradition, often enjoyed after a day of hard work or during festivities. It’s a flavor combination you simply can't miss!
Location
- 7th Floor, 180-5 Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu
- (50m from Hansung Baekje Station, Exit 3)
Participation Fee
- 25,000 KRW
- This fee covers the cost of ingredients and is required to prevent "no-shows".
Notice In previous meetups, we packed all the food to take home. However, for this session, we are changing it up! You can choose to enjoy the meal together at the venue, or pack your portion to take home. Let's eat together!
Embrace the spirit of cultural exchange as we bond over delicious dishes, share stories, and learn about each other's language and traditions.
Whether you are a foodie, a language enthusiast, or someone looking to expand your cultural horizons, this event promises to be a fun and enriching experience.
Come hungry for great food and leave with new friends and language skills!
