Join us for an unforgettable fall hike at Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area!

Experience the Niagara Escarpment at its most spectacular, draped in the brilliant reds, oranges, and golds of fall. We'll hike along the cliff edge, taking in breathtaking, panoramic views of the Nassagaweya Canyon and the sprawling countryside below.

What to Bring:

  • Sturdy footwear: Hiking shoes or boots are strongly recommended.
  • Water: At least 1 litre per person.
  • Snacks: To keep your energy up.

Important Information:

  • Gate fee: Rattlesnake Point is part of Conservation Halton and has a gate fee ($12 + HST at the gate, $10.50 + HST online). Online reservations are not required, but are recommended to secure your spot and save money on gate fees.
  • Weather: This event will run rain or shine. However, in the case of severe weather (e.g., thunderstorms, high winds), the event will be cancelled. Please check your email the morning of the hike for any updates.
  • Carpooling: We encourage carpooling to reduce our environmental impact and manage limited parking. Please feel free to coordinate in the comments section of the event page.
  • Meeting point: We are meeting at the Buffalo-Crag Trail head (see the map pin below) at 1:30 PM sharp.

Don't miss one of the best fall colour displays in the region!
