Start time :1130-1200 or whatever suits, I will be driving there from home, car park is 1 hour from Belfast.

Duration: 4 Hours
Type: Cross country over rugged and wet peatlands for 40% with steep climb up Croaghan Mountain. Remainder of the hike is on forestry commission track through Breen Forest, solid underfoot tracks. Some road walking to return to car park, approx. 500m. I will bring Hi Vis vests.
Added interest: This is a precursor to an extended walk with a different start point, taking in the Moyle way and Glenshesk upper river valley including Slievenaorra, Can show and discuss this route with Karen and David on the day. I haven’t had time to check the right of way as its through a farm.
Equipment: Waterproof boots, gaiters, and full waterproof clothing required. Packed lunch. This is a NO dogs hike. Open farm peatland with mountain sheep and Deer.
