Lough Neagh from Antrim Train Station
Details
This walk takes us through Antrim town, follows some of the Six Mile Water river and the shore of Lough Neagh before bringing us to Antrim Marina. We then follow the river again up to Antrim Castle gardens and Clotworthy House. If we're lucky we may see herons, otters and kingfishers on the river.
The walk is circular, lasts for 3 to 4 hours, is 8 miles long and is mostly flat with only 475 feet of ascent. The walk returns us to the train station. Waterproof boots or shoes are recommended for this walk, as there will be some wet and muddy paths along the way . Dogs Welcome.
