Out and About in the City and Having Fun

Today will be pure adrenaline. First we will see the movie “Song Sung Blue” at Regal Union Square (850 Broadway) at 1 PM. Rotten Tomatoes says this about the film: “Based on a true story, two down-on-their-luck musicians (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson) form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band, proving it's never too late to find love and follow your dreams.” There is already Oscar buzz for Kate Hudson’s performance. I am in seat F7 in Screen 10 theater at 1 PM. After the movie we will subway over to Brooklyn and see the Dyker Heights Christmas lights. We will leave Union Square at 4 PM for Dyker Heights. After we tour the neighborhood we will have dinner at an inexpensive restaurant. You are welcome to join us for all or part of the day. We will meet in the lobby at 8:45 AM. Our movie starts at 9:00 AM. After the movie we walk to 67th and Central Park West to begin our Central Park walk. We will meet on the benches right inside the entrance to the park at 67th and Central Park West at 12:30 PM. For those joining us for the walk we will meet you on the benches at 67th and Central Park West at 12:30 PM. After a brief stop at Strawberry Fields we move on to The Mall and Bethesda Terrace & Fountain. Our final stop on our walk today will be the Obelisk.
