Patmos is a unique serene Greek island in the Dodecanese known and designated a "Sacred Island" and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is famous for the Cave of the Apocalypse where the book of Revelation is written and the 11th-century Monastery of Saint John, twinned with Glastonbury in England, It offers stunning, hilly landscapes, whitewashed villages (Chora), and secluded, clear-water beaches.

Indicative itinerary :
Monday, 20th July : Fly into Rhodes and catch up with other group members, enjoy the evening out in the old medieval town of Rhodes!
Promptly be in touch if you wish to arrive earlier, enjoy the best of Rhodes and catch up with the group already there, arrangements can be made accordingly.
Tuesday, 21st July : Ferry from Rhodes to Patmos. (about 4 hours.40 mins - £55 at the moment) Enjoy the cobbled whitewashed streets of the main town, being immersed in its colours and vibe for an unmissable summer evening in the Aegean island!
Wednesday 22nd: Visiting the picturesque sights of the island, the Monastery of St. John, a fortress-like monastery overlooking the main town of Chora with 12th-century frescoes, the Cave of the Apocalypse: The sacret site where St. John is believed to have written the Book of Revelation.
Enjoy the beach, indulge in authentic greek food and the unique energy of this island.
Thursday, 23rd July : Optional day trip to Arki & Marathi, a small cluster of heavenly islets that never fail to captivate visitors with their blissful serenity and seriously magnificent serene landscapes.
Enjoy the nature and panoramic views, especially near the windmills of Chora.
Friday, 24th July : Ferry from Patmos to Kos, (2hr 15 mins, £49) flight to London and the option to stay in Kos on your own for one or two nights and explore further!

Arrangements can be made if you wish to stay longer in Kos, the island of Hippocrates, the father of Medicine and also visit Nisiros island.
