Labor Day Brookdale Park Walk to Applegate Farm for Ice Cream [Montclair]

Join us for a flat stroll in Brookdale Park as we go on a 1 mile walk to Applegate Farm for ice cream. We will pass Yantacaw Park along the way. The plan is to eat ice cream at Applegate and walk back to Brookdale where we parked the cars. We will meet at noon and begin the walk promptly at 12:15.

The walk will be ~2.5 miles in total.

Meet in the lower parking lot by the track. (See pin location and map in photos)

Please use Google Maps when driving with the GPS. Unfortunately Apple Maps will not take you to the right parking lot.

The correct entrance is off Watchung Ave, and I’ve uploaded a photo highlighting which parking lot to meet at. If you get lost, send me a message!

Applegate doesn’t have restrooms but there should be some at the park. Cash/Credit accepted for ice cream orders at Applegate.
