Join Out & Active NI for a special early morning adventure as we welcome the longest day of the year with a sunrise hike up Cavehill. There’s something magical about watching the city slowly wake up as the first light of the day spreads across Belfast.

We’ll meet before dawn and begin our climb while the city is still quiet. Cavehill is one of Belfast’s most iconic viewpoints, and reaching the summit just in time for sunrise makes the experience even more memorable.

The hike itself is relatively short and accessible, making it a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, start the day with some movement, and share a unique moment with a great group of people.

We expect to be back down around 5:30 a.m., just as the city begins to fully come to life. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy tea and coffee provided by Out & Active NI to warm up and round off the morning together.

Expect peaceful early-morning energy, incredible views, and the satisfaction of doing something a little different to celebrate the summer solstice.

🎒 What to Bring
