Join Out & Active NI for an afternoon of axe throwing at Black Axe Throwing Co. Belfast! Whether you’ve thrown an axe before or wouldn’t know which end to hold, the session is designed to take you through everything you need to know before putting your new skills to the test.
The experience starts with a mandatory safety briefing, followed by an introduction to the basics, including how to hold, collect and throw an axe safely. The instructors will help you work on your distance, rotation and technique before moving on to more advanced throws and finishing with a friendly competition.
No previous experience is required, so come along, learn something completely different and see who can claim the Out & Active NI axe-throwing crown! 🏆

⚠️ Important Venue Rules
👟 Closed-toe, sensible footwear is compulsory. Open-toed shoes, sandals, flip-flops and high heels are not permitted.
⏰ Please arrive on time. The venue states that late arrivals will not be allowed to participate and will not receive a refund.
🤰 The venue advises that anyone who is pregnant should not participate.
🚫 Anyone believed to be intoxicated will not be permitted to participate. This is consistent with O&A's policy.

• • If you can no longer attend, you must inform the Out & Active NI organisers in advance. This helps avoid wasted spaces and allows others the opportunity to attend.

• • This event maintains a strict zero drugs and alcohol policy. Anyone under the influence will be asked to leave immediately and no refunds will be provided.
