This is a circle route with 46.2 km paved and 9 km hard-packed trails. From the start point, we head west along the Fort to Fort Trail to 208 St., then onto 102B Ave and along the Golden Ears Greenway to Port Kells. We take the Ferry across to Barnston Island, stopping for lunch at Mann Point. We continue around the Island, back to the ferry and thru Tynehead Park, back along the Golden Ears Greenway to the Telegraph trail and on to 96th Ave , 216 St, 100 Ave and McKinnon Crescent back to Brae Island.

Difficulty: Moderate if you have been biking regularly.
Distance: 55.6 km
Estimated Ride Time: 5.5 hrs.
Bring: snacks/water and Pack a Lunch. There are no places to buy food along this route.

Please be sure your bike is in good condition, tires are inflated, and brakes are in good working order before arriving at the starting point. Carrying a Repair Kit and an extra inner tube is recommended. To help you to be seen and heard on the road, the following equipment is also recommended: a bell, flashing front and back lights or reflectors and a mirror.
