This is a 70 km ride with about 300 meters of accumulated elevation gain. The ride is mostly on paved surfaces, with only 10.2 km on unpaved surfaces. Our first stop will be at The Stomping Grounds in Pitt Meadows. After coffee, we head over bridge number 2, the Golden Ears Bridge, into Langley. We head in an easterly direction to Fort Langley, where there are several places you can choose from for lunch. The designated lunch stop is at Trails End Pub.
After lunch, we work our way through Langley and Surrey as we head to the Port Mann Bridge and then through the Riverview Hospital area and back to the starting point.

Difficulty: Moderate / Hard if you have been biking regularly. The biggest climb is heading to and over the Port Mann Bridge.
Total Distance: 70.1 km.
Expected Duration: 5.5 Hrs
Bring: snacks/water and pack a lunch, or purchase lunch from the Pub in Ft. Langley

Please be sure: your bike is in good condition, tires are inflated, and brakes are in good working order before arriving at the starting point. Carrying a Repair Kit and an extra inner tube is recommended. To help you to be seen and heard on the road, the following equipment is also recommended: a bell, flashing front and back lights or reflectors and a mirror.
