Canguangliao Hike - Free

Canguangliao Shan is a peak which gives nice views of the Northeast coast and the Teapot Mountain area in particular.
The trail starts in Mudan village following a stream, and climbs up through the woods and up to the Chinese Silver Grass and old mining area above Jinguashi. There is a short section at the peak with ropes.

Train: 👉4154 to Ruifang (departs Taipei Main Station 08:15, arrives Ruifang 09:10)
👉4156 to Mudan (departs Riufang 09:37, arrives Mudan 09:52)
Return to: 👉 Taipei Main Station
Notes:
★ We will meet at 8:00am and wait for people who have registered for at least 10 minutes.
★ The hike is challenging, and will take about 5 hours.
★ You can buy food and water at 7-Eleven on arrival.
★ The whole hike will end before 3 pm roughly. We eat together afterwards.
★ If you are interested in this hiking event, please submit RSVP as early as possible. Please join this event only if you intend to attend and you know that you have the stamina for this hike. If you need to cancel, please do it as soon as you know you can’t make it.
★ If you are bringing a friend, please say in advance.
★ Bring enough food and water for a five-hour hike.
★ It may be necessary to bring umbrella, sunglasses, sun cream, cap, and mosquito repellent, EasyCard, gloves for the ropes
★ Be willing to have fun, be friendly and make all participants feel welcome!
★ Although the organiser coordinates the meetup, it is your responsibility to be independent and look after your own health and safety. Be sure to familiarise yourself with the arrangements and the route so that you can be totally self-sufficient on the walk.
