ABOUT HOST JEFFREY CANTON:
Hosted by the incomparable Jeffrey Canton (he/him), this May 22nd event promises heart, humour, and insight. A founding member of "Queers in Your Ears", Canada's longest-running storytelling collective, Jeffrey Canton has shared his stories and work across Canada and internationally, from Harbourfront Centre in Toronto to "Arirang Nights of Storytelling" in Korea. Over the past three decades, Jeffrey has captivated audiences with original stories rooted in layered histories, his own Jewish heritage, and his deeply personal queerstory— often interwoven with gay show tunes and a touch of soft-shoe. Jeffrey Canton is a passionate storytelling coach, a celebrated teacher of “Transformations” with Storytelling Toronto, and he was the recipient of the Storytellers of Canada 2018 Alice Kane Award.
## Accessibility info + Entrances at Arts Court:
## Arts Court is committed to accessibility and offers several accessible entrances for visitors.
## The side entrance at 67 Nicholas Street, open during Arts Court hours, includes ramp accessibility from the courtyard and a door actuator. There is also an accessible entrance at 2 Daly Avenue on Level 0, with ramp access from the sidewalk and an intercom for assisted entry from our front desk staff.
Additionally, when the Ottawa Art Gallery is open, visitors can use the 10 Daly Avenue or 50 Mackenzie King Bridge entrances and access Arts Court through the connecting doors.
