PRIDE NIGHT AT THE NATIONAL GALLERY 5PM to 8PM - free!

Gather with friends or come meet new ones as we celebrate Ottawa Pride week with this free Thursday evening fun at the National Gallery of Canada.

-Join DJ Roxysunset in the Great Hall to start your evening!

-Follow a co-presented “3 to See” tour (in English at 5:30pm & in French at 7pm) with Queer artist Kim Farris-Manning and an NGC Interpreter. Let’s talk art !

-Take in a spectacular mini performance by Drag Queen Denim.

From 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday nights, you can also order & enjoy seasonal refreshments and snacks while taking in music and the ambiance of art. You'll also have an opportunity to participate in free art-making activities.

Roxysunset is one of Ottawa’s most popular DJs, with ongoing residencies at The Lookout and with both the Ottawa Charge and Ottawa Rapid FC.

Kim Farris-Manning is a fun-loving queer arbor-artist based in Ottawa and Montreal, they create works across disciplines that engage with the performer and audience in unique ways. Allowing ideas to grow and change is a central facet of their work; pieces are often made in versions, through a process of experimentation and collaboration with others.

Denim is most known for being in the Top 4 of Canada's Drag Race Season 4. She was born and raised in Prince Edward Island before moving to Montreal. Through her practice of performance, fashion, makeup, digital media, video, and textile art, drag became the best outlet to encapsulate all of her passions into one medium.

​As an autistic trans man, Denim aims to expand the limits of drag and make it a more inclusive space while being both a representation and voice for the neurodiverse and trans communities.
