Minibus trip, Rutland Water 6 miles easy - Day Trip

Join us for a day trip out of Cambridge to Rutland Water. It was constructed between 1971 and 1975, and features a 24 mile circular track around it's circumference. We will walk the shorter 6 mile track from Hambleton. It features woodland and sweeping views of the reservoir.

GETTING THERE
We will travel in a Minibus. 08:00 St Pauls Church, 08:30 Trumpington Park and Ride. Journey time 1hr. Return trip £12. For those who prefer to drive you can meet us at the Finch Arms, Hambleton LE15 8TL at 9:30. Please leave a comment if you are planning to bring your own car, so we can adjust the RSVP numbers accordingly. We will leave by 2:45 which should solve the logistical issues from the last trip returning to St Pauls.

WHAT TO BRING
A packed lunch and water, we will stop at the the pub in Hambleton for a break at Lunchtime. Toilets are also available at the start of the track. If time permits the group can decide whether to visit nearby Burley House, or remain at the pub.
