What we’re about
Out and Older in OS is a social organization for LGBTQ folks "of a certain age" (loosely defined as 50 or older--you know who you are!) in the North Beach area, although all will be welcomed without judgement. Members get together for: BINGO, coffee or dining out; topic-focused discussion groups on self improvement, grief support; walking, beach combing and nature studies; social gatherings like Knit, Stitch & Sip; gardening; activism; and day trips organized by members as well as other activities suggested by the group.
Our aim is to foster community and get to know each other, which can be difficult for LGBTQ folks as we get older and retire to smaller, remote locations.
Come play with us! We have a very big sand box right outside our doors.

Our Murder Mystery menu, 4 courses:
- Dinner Salad (choice of dressings)
- Cream of Asparagus Soup
- Chicken Parm or Roasted Cauliflower Steak
- Lemon Italian Cream Cake (It's DELICIOUS)
It's loads of FUN folks, hope you will join us! Costumes are encouraged, but not required (but, hay, who doesn't want to dress up in their chaps?!)
