Omo Valley Expedition
We start in Addis Ababa and head south into Ethiopia’s wild frontier where the road ends and true expedition begins.
Over 600 miles, our 4×4 convoy travels through coffee highlands, remote valleys, and tribal lands that few travellers ever reach. The route connects the Suri, Hamar, Karo, Arbore, and Dassanach tribes each with unique traditions, languages, and cultures that define this region.
Expect rugged terrain, long drives, and real off-road conditions. We’ll cross rivers, camp in remote areas, and experience everyday life deep within the Omo Valley. Markets, villages, and open savannahs form the backdrop of an expedition designed for people who want to explore beyond the surface.
Every day brings a new environment from misty mountains to arid plains. Nights are spent around fires or in small lodges, surrounded by landscapes untouched by mass tourism.
This journey isn’t about luxury it’s about discovery, endurance, and perspective. You’ll cover nearly a thousand kilometres across one of Africa’s last authentic frontiers, guided by a team experienced in remote-field expeditions.
