Welcome to the Outback Hiking Club of Southern Utah!

Returning members will be placed in a ‘pending dues’ status until your membership is paid. New members have a 2-week trial membership, then your card will be charged. If you wish to pay prior to the end of your trial period, you may send a check to the Club's Secretary/Treasurer (address available on our "Welcome" page). Once the check is received, your membership can be manually input by our Secretary/Treasurer.

We are fortunate to live in Southwest Utah. It is a land with a large variety of natural landscapes and hiking opportunities. Our hike leaders offer a wide range of hikes with varying levels of difficulty, from easy to extremely difficult, and on a variety of terrain. Our hikes not only follow the many trails in the area, but extend into the backcountry hiking and scrambling on slick rock and through washes. We offer hikes for every skill level and look to our volunteer hike leaders to post those hikes they love doing. We are always looking for more volunteers to lead our hikes.

Hikes are listed on our website and in a weekly newsletter that will be sent to your email address. Please read the “Guidelines for Members” and other other useful information about the club found in our club files. Please respect the privacy of your fellow members and keep any personal information you obtain from our website confidential.
