Details

This is +- 10 mile challenging loop hike with around +-1,800 ft in elevation gain. We will have some great views from the hike. Note: this hike is not as strenuous as some of my hikes so I encourage you to attend if you are on the fence on going. Also, although I don’t encourage it, there are some bail out points if needed. Note: hike starts promptly at 10. Don’t be late.

Trails: Chestnut Knob Trail, Sawtooth Trail, Little River Trail, Turkey Ridge Trail, Hidden Cove Trail, and River Trail.

Where to meet: at the trailhead- High Shoals Falls Parking Lot (take the road in as far as it goes.)

We will stop for lunch. There are restrooms near the trailhead, about three quarters of the way in on the hike, and on your way driving in at the Visitor Center. Note: We are NOT meeting at the Visitor Center.

No cell service at trailhead.
