5.6-mile out-and-back trail near Nebo, North Carolina. Generally considered a highly challenging route, it takes an average of 4 hrs to complete and should only be attempted by experienced adventurers. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
This route features challenging rocky terrain, with cliffs in close proximity and seasonal water crossings. It is recommended that only experienced hikers attempt this trail, as it is not beginner-friendly. There are no signs indicating the way.
