Pilot Mountain Hike - Christian Paul Winery and Capn Dar!

WHEN YOU COME IN THE PILOT MT MAIN GATE YOU'LL SEE ANOTHER GATE AHEAD ON THE RIGHT, GO THRU IT TO THE "TOP PARKING LOT".

Weather is looking great with some sunshine in the morning and temps in the 70s and mid 80s, no rain till mid afternoon.

You can short cut this hike and make it a easy side of difficult hike, or go all the way down to the Visitor's Center and back up to make it a difficult hike, 6 plus miles hike over 1,000 vertical and some rugged trail, so that puts it in the difficult range. We'll hike from the parking lot at the top of Pilot Mt down towards the Campground or Visitor's Center and then back up around the mountain on the Ledge Spring trail and then around the Pilot House.

Be at the "parking lot on top of Pilot Mt" near the bathrooms before 9:30 AM.

Bring water and a trail lunch or trail snack

Calling all Jimmy Buffet fans! Mike 'Cap N Dar' Robinson will be performing from 1-4 PM on our patio. Tropical summer vibes will be in effect as many of your island favorites are played. Come for an afternoon filled with Buffet-style island tune and your favorite Christian Paul wines.
