Roan Mountain Day 1 Hike (&Camp)

This is going to be a 2 part hike!!
Hike one day or both Saturday and Sunday (Camping info below)
Saturday Nov 7 we are going to meet at the Carvers Gap sign starting at 10am
Saturday hike will be Carvers Gap to Roan High Bluff Via Appalachian Trail
Rated Moderate 6.9 miles 1, 167 elevation
Starts at the Carvers Gap parking area we will follow a series of switchbacks through a beautiful forest until connecting with Roan Bluff trail.

After the hike we plan on going to a brewery called
The Appalachian Station at 19E
The only Pub in Roan Mountain, TN, Excellent Food, 8 taps for draft beer (including Guinness Draught), 150+ different types of craft beer, ciders, and seltzers, plus Karaoke, Live Music
