Middle/Lower Wissahickon..Roughly 6.5 miles, quick pace

**MEET AT 6:00pm with 6:15 SHARP departure**

This weeks "weekly night hike" will take us to the Middle and Lower Wissahickon. We will be covering about 6.5 miles. Plan to move at about 3.5mph with very few stops. Be prepared to do your part by keeping up and communicating to those behind you when we come across intersections in the woods: straight, left or right.
We do our best to stick together and look out for one another. But if you are really struggling, you will need to find your way back to car.

Gear required and/or suggested: hiking footwear as there will be plenty of rocks and roots, water, bug/tick spray

Light rain or shine event. Heavy rain or storms will cancel.

PARKING AND MEETING LOCATION: We will meet at Blue Bell Park located at 842 W Walnut Lane (see Meetup pin). Gates close at dark- check signage to verify exact time. There is plenty of parking on Walnut Lane near the park entrance as well. Do not leave valuables in plain sight!

Please note: I cannot respond to calls, texts, emails, messages on meetup, or comments on the event page once we start hiking. Plan accordingly. I highly advise allowing extra time for arrival to avoid last minute chaos....:)
