Philly Urban sight seeing evening hike 7ish miles- Social +pace

**Meet at 6pm with 6:15pm SHARP departure**

Mixing it up and coming out of the woods for this week's night hike. We did this last year and folks enjoyed the change of scenery. If you are a suburbanite, this is your chance to traipse through some of the safer streets in Phila with a great group of people!

Some points of interest we will be passing by are: ART MUSEUM, LOGAN CIRCLE, BASILICA, CITY HALL, LOVE PARK,ROCKY STATUE AND RITTENHOUSE SQUARE. Route has not been finalized, but we may also hit parts of Fairmount and/or Independence Hall.

The pace will be fairly brisk, but you will be able to hold a conversation. In an effort to keep a nice flow to the evening, stops will be limited to worthwhile attractions along the route.

We will meet right in front of Lloyd Hall which is located at the end of Boathouse Row. Intersection of Kelly Drive and Sedgley. Address is 1 Boathouse Row. There are public bathrooms there, but none along the route that I am aware of. Meeting time is 6pm and departure at 6:15pm sharp so we are back before dark. Estimated completion time 8:45 ish.

Parking: plenty of free street parking on Sedgley Drive right off Kelly Drive. Pretty safe area...lots of rowers, runners, etc.....but I always advise to NOT LEAVE VALUABLES in sight. In fact, it is best to put anything you may have in your car into your trunk.

Sneakers are ok for this hike. Make sure to hydrate.

Post Hike Celebration: With the arrival of warm weather and longer days, there will either be an organized or impromptu post hike chance to grab food/drink.

GUEST and ATTENDANCE POLICY:
Guests are ok for this hike only. Friendly dogs always welcome on leash (so we don't have problems). Just ask that you post such in the comment section so other attendees are aware.

Please be courteous and change your rsvp in a timely fashion if you can no longer attend an event. Repeated no shows or a history of signing up and dropping off excessively when there is a waitlist will exclude you from being moved off of future waitlists and special events
