Sisters & Brothers Sailing on the Hudson River

1/3 ofa mile south down the shoreline.

Join our friends at Ferry Sloops in Ossining for a 3 hour introduction to sailing. The group is strictly limited to 12. We will rotate in groups of 4 through 3 sections:

1. Theory of sailing, knot tying and nautical terms;
2. History of this part of the Hudson River; and
3. one hour on the sailboat. You can just enjoy the ride or help out - your choice.

The cost is $25 each. All funds will be donated to ferrysloops.Org.

Wear sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen. Wear secure shoes (no flip flops) and preferably white soles.

There are bathrooms, a snack shop and a restaurant (The Boathouse) next door.

This event is subject to weather conditions. We can’t sail in a storm.
