The beautiful walking route takes us through Windsor and Eton Train Station > Windsor Castle > Long walk and Deer Park > Copper Horse Statue > Virginia Water Lake circular ( And back the same route may be slight detour if we explore ), and ofcourse

This would be a Mixed group , a friendly bunch of hikers. who hike , camp , paddle board , kayak but also go out for long walks.

Recommend to carry water , snacks , wraps . Keep the rucksack lighter as it is a long one of 15 miles/ 25km, we could wind up the walk with a drink at the end .

# Windsor Long Walk And Deer Park

The Long Walk in Windsor is a famous 2.64-mile tree-lined avenue that stretches from the George IV Gateway of Windsor Castle to the Copper Horse statue at Snow Hill. Created by King Charles II in the 1680s, this historic path runs through a deer park filled with hundreds of red deer and offers stunning, uninterrupted views of the castle. It is a popular, free public route for walking, often used for royal carriages, and features beautiful scenery that changes with the seasons

# Virginia Water

Originally conceived as a Royal pleasure ground, Virginia Water lies at the Southern edge of Windsor Great Park.
The 2-mile-long lake is a popular destination for families, walkers and wildlife lovers. In addition to tree-lined shores and vistas, its highlights include The Cascade and The Leptis Magna Ruins.
A full circuit of the lake is a bracing 5.25 miles, but the Cascade and Leptis Magna Ruins are a much shorter stroll.
