Goldmine Trail to San Tan to Moonlight Trail Loop
Details
This route features a well-groomed trail that travels around the base of the San Tan mountains. The trail is good for hiking, biking, or even pushing a jogging stroller. There are lots of Saguaro cacti and Joshua trees, as well as a view of the valley. Several trails start at the same trailhead with varying difficulty which can be combined with this route for those who wish to extend their hike.
This hike is about 3.5 miles in length and is considered easy by Alltrails.
This is part of the Maricopa County Parks system and has a parking fee. If you plan to attend more of my hikes, consider getting an annual pass because I'll be scheduling hikes at more Maricopa County parks.
I'll be at the trailhead at about 8:15 am.
