This 4.1 mile hike - Blevins Trail and Cat Peaks Pass winds through the Sonoran Desert. Hikers will start by climbing to a saddle and going along a steep trail with some loose gravel. The trail has clear markings. The trail gets rocky and has portions of loose rocks, especially on the climb up to the pass. There will be multiple washes that you will cross during the hike.

As hikers reach the Cat Peaks Pass, they are rewarded with breathtaking 360-degree views. Two peaks are visible from this location, offering an even better view of the valley below.

All Trails considers this an easy hike, but be aware that this trail has portions with loose rocks.

There is a park entrance fee for this location, and I believe the parking fee will increase to $9.00 per day in January.

I'll meet you at the Blevin's Trailhead at 8:15 am.
