Moon Light Paddle on the Cooper River Lake
Details
Join us on a leisurely moonlight paddle on the Cooper River. We will meet at 6 pm. Sunsets at 6:45. We will paddle west to the 130's bridge and return under moon light. About 3 to 4 miles total. Check the icon on map for the proper parking location. Bring a PFD vest (must be warn when on the water), flashlight and a white 360 light for the back of your boat, and a whistle. Also wear closed toe footwear no flip-flops or bare fee. Bring drink water. Note: if anyone wants to do a shorter paddle on your own you can do that too. Decorate your boat with color lights if you like.
Note: There are sail boats and racing skulls sharing the water, use your whistle if you think they are coming too close.
Air temperature will be dropping so dress for the weather.
Portable toilets are in the parking lot.
