Note the 11 am start time, less crowds. This water way has been cleared and is good to run.

This is a good trip on the Wading River from Hawkins Bridge to Beaver Branch! We will meet at Godfrey's Bridge to gather and check in.

It is a great trip for all levels of paddlers. It is approximately a 5-hour run, and we will be stopping along the way to eat lunch. We can eat and experience the Pine Barrens. We will be meeting at Godfrey's Bridge at 11 am.

When meeting in the morning, drive over the one lane wooden bridge and we will be the one with the boats. New members welcome!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • water
  • sunscreen
  • hat
  • lunch
  • pfd (life jacket) -- this is mandatory!
  • change of clothes
  • Bug Spray

PLEASE REVIEW:

There are specific rules for attending, including updated rules for shuttling.
Your attendance on the trip indicates you have reviewed and agreed to these rules.

OCSJ Guidelines include:

  1. Paid members are given priority. Guests can come for their first trip but may be bumped to the waiting list. You will receive an email if that is the case.
  2. This run is clear
  3. Shuttle will be organized among participants, but it is important to note that is not part of the club activity.
  4. If you have RSVP’d to attend and cannot, please be courteous and cancel so others can attend. Do this at least 24 hours before activity start time.
