Beginners Backpack With Benefits - A Slow and Low **

** Slow and Low - Slow pace ( 1- 2 mph ) and low mileage ( 7 miles total )
This trip is for the beginner or newer backpacker.

This backpack is geared for those who have the backpacking gear but have never pulled it out of the closet or maybe have only been on one or two short trips.
The slow pace will be kept and everyone is to stay with the group.
We will hike a modified loop using the Batona and Cranberry trails in Brendan T Bryne SF with an overnight stay at the campground. The campground has picnic tables, a bath house with showers and flush toilets and we will have a campfire ( that's the benefits part!)

All attendees must be OCSJ members
No children or pets
