Different Views of the Jersey Shore and The Northern HHT ---13----14 Miles

If you are new to my hikes, you have to message or email me before you can register. Priority on my hikes will be given to those who attend the hikes or who cancel their reservation at least 24 hours ahead of time.
We begin at the HHT Activity Center.on the HHT and walk to Church Avenue in Port Monmouth. We reach Bayshore Waterfront Park ,which offers a Fishing Peer with beautiful views of NYC skyline and Raritan/ Sandy Hook Bay. Next we reach Ideal Beach (North Middletown) with another peer and more fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean,etc. We continue onto Keansburg Beach and Waterfront Boardwalk. Next we pass the Keansburg Amusement Park, which is temporally closed and Belvedero Beach. We take Laurel Avenue to the HHT back to Activity Center. We will be walking 8 miles on the HHT and 5 miles on pavement, , boardwalks and sand . We walk through the streets of Port Monmouth, North Middletown,and Keansburg. We go over Pew's, Waackaack and Compton Creeks. There is a restroom next to Parking Lot. There should be restrooms open on our route. Bring water, lunch ,snacks, sun block hat, and something to sit on. We will try to keep pace at 3 -3.2 .Questions contact Al D.
