Edgar Felix Trail-A Long and Fast Hike ---- 11 Miles

If you are new to my hikes you must message or email me before you can register. Priority on my hikes will be given to those who attend the hikes or who cancel their reservation at least 24 hours ahead of time.
We will walk on the rail to trail paved Edgar Felix trail to Allaire State Park .This hike begins in beautiful downtown Manasquan .It passes playgrounds, woods,open fields farm and a golf course.It goes over the Garden State Parkway and under highways ending at the main parking lot within Allaire State Park where we will have lunch. You can bring or buy lunch at the Allenwood General Store..This bike trail is smooth asphalt and it was the first rail- to- trail created in New Jersey. It is 5.5 miles to Allaire so it will be 11 miles at 3---3.2 MPH. If we have time and interest we can continue to visit the beautiful Manasquan Bay Boardwalk and Inlet,which is 1.5 miles from where we begin. There are two porta-potties in the parking lot at meetup location..There is also a restroom at the Allenwood General Store and Allaire Village.
