Wells Mills County Park-----12 Miles

If you are new to my hikes you have to email or message me before you can register.Priority will be given to those who regularly attend or who cancel their reservation at least 24 hours tin advance.
Wells Mills County Park is Ocean's County largest park at over 900 acres.I would recommend that you visit the Nature Center with a fine view of Wells Mills Lake and the surrounding Pine Barrens from atop the building. This Nature Center was designed to meet the need for environmental education and recreation in Ocean County. Wells Mills is rated number 9 as the top 25 Hiking Trails in South Jersey by the South Jersey Trails 10th Anniversary

When I moved to BerkeleyTownship in 2016,this was one of the first hikes I did with my hiking buddy from up North.

We begin on the ( Macri) White Trail to the end 8.5 miles.The ( Macri) white trail is a very popular trail with its many boardwalks and Atlantic White Cedars.We then break for lunch. After lunch we hike the ( Estlow) green trail another 3.5 miles.The green trail contains bridges, boardwalks and pine trees. The green trail also passes some streams.
You will need to bring water, 2-2.5 liters, lunch and snacks. .The hike is 12 miles at a 3 mph pace.

Before leaving your house check the comments section for cancellations. If I have to cancel the hike, I will post it before 6AM on the day of hike.

There are porta-potties at the parking lot .There are also restrooms at the Nature Center.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for sign -in, restrooms ,adjust boots and safety talk. I leave on time.
